The Time Attack Intermediate class is designed for driver with many HPDEs or lapping days under their belt. Drivers who choose to sign up for the intermediate class should be comfortable on track and familiar with high performance driving events and track days. We recommend that drivers with only Auto-x experience sign up for the Rev Arena Novice class. Auto-x and on track lapping are quite different, and the novice class is the best place to learn the ins and outs of on track lapping. If you have attended many HPDEs and have 500 miles or more of previous on track experience, the Time Attack Intermediate class is for you. Ok, I'm going to sign up for the Intermediate class, what more do I need to know? By signing up for the Time Attack Intermediate class, you are indicating to us that you have experience at and are comfortable with HPDEs and on track lapping days. Our Intermediate Time Attack will not be unlike many of the other HPDEs you have attended. The major difference is that your lap times will be recorded throughout the event, and you will be eligible to receive trophies and prizes. What do I need to bring with me? You will of course need your SA2000 or newer helmet, long sleeve shirt, long pants and closed shoes. Bring your completed copy of both the insurance form and the vehicle tech inspection form. You may want to bring sunblock, a folding chair, air pressure gauge, common tools, and a jack. Bring extra oil as well, even if your car doesn't burn a drop on the street, it may burn some on the track. If that happens, don't worry about it too much... some oil consumption while running laps at high revs is quite common. Bring enough money for gas, your car will burn 3-4 times more gas on the track than it does on the street. Auto Meter is proud to announce the addition of Peak and Warning Electric Full Sweep Stepper Motor gauges to the incredibly popular Ultra-Lite gauge series. Designed with “smart” signal conditioning electronics, these gauges self-calibrate each time the ignition is turned on. Electric stepper motor gauges use rugged microprocessors to provide smooth pointer movement for precision readings under extreme conditions. Available in a variety of popular instrument types as well as 2 1/16” and 2 5/8” sizes, these instruments feature user programmable bright red LED warning lights to alert drivers to critical conditions. The Peak recall function lets drivers keep their focus on the track without giving up key information, by recording the peak data value achieved during a run and allowing it to be reviewed on the gauge face back in the pits.
